I’m a summer holdout.
I’ve been clinging to the last string of warmth trying to ward off it’s impending exit but when Monday morning hit the reality of fall’s arrival smacked right between the eyes. As I rummaged through a closet trying to locate hats and coats before school, I mentally waved the white flag of surrender.
Summer is gone. It’s time to jump into autumn.
I’ve been watching all my e-friends decorate with gourds and pumpkins for weeks. Realizing that my petunias were officially fried, I finally bit the bullet and dusted off my fall decor. In order to complete my fall decorating tasks I needed some pumpkins and mums. There’s no better place to buy them then at Gust’s Brothers Pumpkin Farm.
A mere two miles from our house, I threw the girls into the car and set out to explore…and accept…everything fall has to offer.
I’ve been going to Gust Brothers since Drew turned three. Over the past sixteen years Mr. and Mrs. Gust have ratcheted up their farm to make it one of northwest Ohio’s premeire fall destinations!
First we had fun in the barn!
Then we headed out to the farm!
And then to the chicken coop.
The main barn features all kind of fall country must-haves.
We kill a couple of hours at Gusts every week during the fall.
I cannot recommend the destination more highly!
